“The AI Advantage” Event in Review

On September 17th, PulseOne hosted our live Copilot event—The AI Advantage: Unleashing Copilot Agents Across Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365—at Microsoft’s Tech Center in Irvine. With clear skies and a full room of attendees, the day was a great opportunity to learn, connect, and explore how AI is transforming the way we work. We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us in person and to those who supported behind the scenes. For those who couldn’t attend, here’s a detailed look back at the highlights.

The presentations began with Avalara, who set the stage by discussing their strong partnership with Microsoft. Their presentation showcased how Avalara’s solutions pinpoint inefficiencies in accounting processes, helping organizations streamline operations while staying compliant.

From there, we welcomed our keynote speaker, Microsoft’s Jaimie Fox. Jaimie delivered a presentation on the role of Copilot, walking us through the rapidly growing adoption of AI in the workplace. He highlighted how AI can significantly boost productivity, yet many companies are still struggling to fully capture those gains. “It was amazing to present about where AI is going with a room full of other fully engaged professionals,” Jaimie shared. He presented practical considerations for using AI responsibly, strategies to drive transformation across all roles, and how Microsoft is positioned to guide organizations on that journey. 

Next, Queue Associates’ Art Pugach and Jeffrey Goldstein took the stage to demonstrate the power of Copilot within Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. Their live demos brought the technology to life, showing Copilot in action generating sales orders, recapping meetings, drafting emails, creating PowerPoint slides, and improving search in Microsoft Edge. Queue Associates’ demonstration underscored Copilot’s versatility and its potential to enhance efficiency across nearly every Microsoft function. Jeffrey reflected on the experience, saying, “It was indeed great to collaborate with PulseOne. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to present on the West Coast.”

The focus then shifted to security and trust, key enablers for any AI journey. Chad Wiggins from PulseOne and Jason Melo from Touchbrick introduced the concept of data twins: machine learning–generated synthetic replicas that mimic the statistical properties of real data without exposing sensitive information. This approach allows organizations to unlock the insights of AI while keeping critical business and personal data protected. Their presentation helped attendees see how innovation and security must go hand-in-hand.

Continuing that theme, Sam Kaufman of AvePoint spoke about accelerating business value through AI and reminded the audience that embracing AI is both an opportunity and a responsibility. Organizations must balance speed and innovation with thoughtful risk management. Sam’s message was that true transformation requires building a secure foundation while giving employees the tools and confidence to adapt and thrive with AI.

Finally, PulseOne closed out the presentations by sharing how we help organizations begin their AI journey. We wrapped up the day by opening the floor for networking, giving attendees the chance to connect directly with our partners and peers to continue the conversation.
